The Benefits of Sex

1. When women make love they produce amounts of the hormone estrogen, which make hair shiny and skin smooth.

2.  The sweat produced from lovemaking cleanses the pores and makes your skin glow.

3. Lovemaking burns calories.

4.   Sex is an instant cure for mild depression. It releases the chemical endorphin into the bloodstream, producing a sense of euphoria and leaving you with a feeling of well-being.

5.  Sex stretches and tones up just about every muscle in the body.

6. The more sex you have, the more you will drive the opposite sex crazy. The sexually active body gives off greater quantities of chemicals called pheromones.

7. Sex is a natural tranquilizer.  IT IS 10 TIMES MORE EFFECTIVE THAN VALIUM.

8. Kissing each day will keep the dentist away. Kissing encourages saliva to wash food from the teeth and lowers the level of the acid that causes decay, preventing plaque build-up.

9. Sex actually relieves headaches. A lovemaking session can release the tension that restricts blood vessels in the brain.

10. A lot of lovemaking can unblock a stuffy nose.  Sex is a natural antihistamine. It can help combat asthma and hay fever.

11.  Its a lot of fun.

12.  It brings you closer as a couple, forgetting about the daily chores, trials and tribulations.

Rekindle your inner passion today!  Your physical and emotional health will thankyou; and so will your partner.

I haven’t been writing on my blog in awhile because I really haven’t had the time.  I never realized being a stay at home mom could be so busy.  Talia has been teething the last couple of weeks and has been very difficult to put to bed.  She is fine during the day, but the minute the evening hits, its very hard.  She has had 4 teeth coming in at once, and my happy go lucky baby turns miserable past 7 o’clock.  Once she is asleep though, she is asleep (thank god).  Nevertheless, once 10pm rolls around, I really can’t think straight to write.  However, things are looking up.

I went yesterday to get my eyebrows waxed.  The one little thing I do for myself to make me feel somewhat attractive post kids.  I hate plucking brows, so I would much rather get them done by a professional.  I laid down on the bed, listening to the traquil music that they put on for you in the room.  The nice aromas of the scents, the soothing hot wax on my skin….and then RIP!!!!!.  However, I lay there thinking, “wow, I could fall asleep right now”.  I thought to myself, this is really twisted.  I am getting my hair ripped out by the root, and all I can think is “how relaxing“.  Am I really that warped?

The answer is NO.  I realized that I spend all my day focussing on my kids, that the minute I am away from them, not having to think about the routine, the tantrums, the teeth coming in, eat your supper, it was a welcomed break.  It was so nice to not here “Momeeeeeeee” or feel like a milking cow.

Then my husband called 45 minutes later and it was back to being needed.

Break away and find yourself again.  It may only be for a half an hour, but the payoff will help you be a better mother.
